TRAINING FOR AUTISM TRAINERS JUNE 2010

I got so much out of the training and am really fired up ready to put it all into practice!

It is rare to enjoy the whole of a training event but I can say that I honestly did. The other delegates were such a wealth of knowledge and experience that I feel I should thank them too.

I am looking forward to recieving the individual feedback (I think!!) from the group presentations so that I can develop my training skills further.

ROYAL MANCHESTER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL - AUTISM AWARENESS TRAINING FEB 2010

The training received went down exceptionally well with the Childrens Radiology staff; it was pitched at just the right level for all those that attended be they clinical or non clinical and prompted much discussion for days after. Chris had obviously done his background research prior to speaking to my colleagues and I as he brought up real life situations that staff were able to relate to directly. All the staff have come away from this training session with an increased awareness of autism, which they have been actively putting in to practice whenever the need has arisen in there day to day working lives- Thanks Chris and we look forward to meeting you again in the near future.

POSITIVE ABOUT AUTISM / BEHAVIOUR (BOURNEMOUTH 2009)

"I have been asked by all those who attended the courses from Bournemouth Borough Council Early Years SEN Team and those from our Portage Team to say a big thank you. The courses were both excellent - pitched at the right level to ensure that the delegates who hadn't attended autism training before were able to gain a basic knowledge, and those of us who are 'veterans' of autism training went away with up-to-date information and new enthusiasm. Your relaxed presentation style makes you a joy to listen to, and your easy to follow resources and practical activities meant that we all stayed on task throughout the two days. We all came back to the office buzzing, passing on the latest developments to our colleagues"

TRAINING FOR AUTISM TRAINERS (OCT 2009)

"I thought the whole experience was fantastic. I really enjoyed the training. It was engaging and the time just seemed to fly. I felt valued throughout from the amazing food provided to the input I was encouraged to give to each learning activity. I am keen to use the Moodle site to extend my learning from the event itself, and have already made amendments to the training I am giving tomorrow night to make use of some of the tips and resources from the course. Thanks so much Chris and Hazel for such a worthwhile and inspiring experience - it has left me buzzing and wanting to recreate that experience for those who attend my training. I just wish the Cotswold Conference Centre was a bit nearer but it was DEFINITELY worth the journey!"
