This course is for everyone who wants to gain a positive introduction to the communication differences in autism.
Our training is active, visual and fun. We don't use ten words where two will do. We're positive about autism and that's reflected in the style and content of our workshops and events We believe in learning that's fun, enlightening and enabling.
This active and engaging one day event will explore the building blocks of effective communication. It will examine the communication differences and preferences in autism. Through focusing on the way that communication is affected in autism you will learn how to enhance motivation and learning in this area.
The event will equip you with an overview of tools and techniques that will maximise communication with children, young people and adults with autism. The event makes use of case studies, discussion, video and a host of learning techniques that will transform your understanding and practice in relation to autism and communication.
