Autism services require high levels of consistency if they are to be effective. Having an effective team is central to achieving consistency in the environment, in communication and in terms of support for positive behaviour. This course is for anyone who manages a team of people who support children or adults with autism.
What are the five key barriers to effective teamwork? We’re working with managers and team leaders across the spectrum of autism service providers to identify what those factors are. Our event, Positive About Teamwork, is built on the emerging ideas and data from our survey and from individual and group discussions.
This participative and thought provoking course will help managers and team leaders understand the teamwork context in autism services.
